An Infinite Summer

The painting referenced here is Turner’s ‘Richmond Hill on the Prince Regent’s Birthday’. As I work with appropriated images, it seems only fitting to occasionally appropriate book titles, which displays loose connections with the paintings. The title comes from a time travel story which includes ‘freezers’- people stuck in time, the main characters being in Richmond park, just as the painting captures moments frozen in time. Another connection is that Richmond Park is on the flight path to Heathrow.
