Emily Allchurch: The Six Seasons
Upton House, National Trust
7 March – 5 July 2026
In collaboration with the National Trust, we are pleased to announce that Emily Allchurch’s ‘The Six Seasons‘ will have their first public institutional exhibition at Upton House, opening on Saturday 7 March.
Emily’s ‘The Six Seasons’ first launched at James Freeman Gallery in October 2024. This will be the first time the full set will be exhibited in an institutional setting. Upton House is a beautiful country house with a magnificent collection including works by Bosch, El Greco, Bruegel and Canaletto, and is a wonderful place to visit. You can see more about Upton here.
To accompany her show, Emily Allchurch and James Freeman have also curated a small exhibition of a group of works from Upton’s collection, including works by Gainsborough, Turner, Abel Grimmer and others, to explore landscape painting and its influence on Emily’s practice, entitled ‘The Lie of the Land’.
